Argentiere GlacierAfter walking along the track for a few minutes you will come to a small wooded area, follow the path which goes uphill between the chalets as shown here.
Continue up this path which will take you to the top of the Chosalets skiing area. This should only take a few minutes. Continue along the path, heading into the woods until shortly reaching a fork in the path, follow the sign to the left in the direction of La Croix de Lognan. This path is a series of switchbacks which ascends for 600m through the forest. In the morning this path is in the shade which allows the ascent to be acheived in conditions which are not too hot and humid.
