The Arve River

The walk starts from the point where the N506 road crosses a bridge over the river arve. Coming from Argentiere the path starts at at right hand turn just before the river. It starts as a small road which leads to a path along the river.

Follow the road straight down passing a few chalets on your right. The path begins right at the end of the road.

Continue down this path through a small wooded area and follow the path along the river. At this point you should have a superb view of Mont Blanc and the Aiguille de Midi to the south.
