Refuge Albert I.After reaching the top of the Autannes chairlift turn right and begin to ascend the path.
After walking for about 1km you will approach and cross a waterfall from Lac Charamilion. Continue walking along the path. At this point you will have a fine view over the valley looking down into Le Tour, looking to the right into Switzerland you may be able to spot the hydroelectric dam at Lac Emosson. About 850m from the waterfall the path curves around to the left toward the moraine of the Le Tour glacier. Even in summer it can be quite windy and cold at this point, be sure to take a jacket!
The path then begins become quite rocky and a bit more steep.
