IntroductionBefore starting a walk be sure to check the weather conditions.
Sunglasses and high factor suncream are particularly recommended! Especially at high alitude where exposure to the sun is more intense. Also note that during the summer thunderstorms are quite common in the late afternoon/early evening. A decent set of comfortable walking boots with adequate ankle support (to prevent sprains) and good grip should be considered a necessity. Spend some time when purchasing walking boots to ensure they are the right fit and will remain comfortable after several hours of walking.
